- Rae YWOW. Literally just finished inhaling my food and now I’m sad because there’s no more haha. I’ve been to other ethiopian restaurants but this is my first time trying one out in San Antonio and this one did not disappoint! We got the meat combo and the veggie combo to try a little bit of everything. Meat combo came with 3 different meats (1 chicken and 2 other beef ones). The veggie came with 3 different choices too. Love the spices used in Ethiopian food. Everything we got was so delicious. There was plenty of food and lots of extra injera as well. I don’t know why it took us so long to try Ethiopian food in San Antonio but will definitely be coming back very soon!
- DanaMarie SEver had Ethiopian? No? This is the place to open your mind. The “flatbread” is like a crepe and sourdough had a baby, and the sauce that your food is in will rock your world. Be mindful of spice- those fresh peppers are no joke. I do wish there was an option for “extra sauce on the side” because those flavors mingle so well. Coffee is my jam, this sweet and strong cup have me just the pick up and go I needed, but that hot tea was a real showcase winner between the beverages. Again, flavors mingle and didn’t throw off the food either!! We’ll be back soon enough.
- Christina JSO GOOD! The first bite was euphoric! The meat and veggie platter was a great way to try a variety of dishes, and they were all delicious in their own way. I recommend having the dorowat on its own, it was THAT good! Some of the best I’ve had. They definitely give you more than enough to eat and share.
